Handmade in Oakland, CA. by Marisa Maison. She takes an initial design sketch, carves it into wax and begins the casting process.  While she doesn't cast in house, she does complete all of the polishing and finishing in her studio.  This is typically at least a 5 step process to get to that high quality final finish she strives for.
